Landscape | Yosemite
A few months back, we got the wonderful opportunity to take a workshop with Aperture Academy in Yosemite and it was a great 2 days of learning and shooting in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Once a year, when the moon is full and the waterfalls have plenty of water flowing, you are able to capture moonbows at night. To capture this phenomenon is definitely rewarding and amazing to see. On our way home, we spent a few minutes at Mono Lake and got to enjoy a beautiful sunset on our drive. We apologize for the lengthy post, but it was definitely an exciting weekend of shooting from 8 in the morning till 3 in the morning. Here are some of our favorites:
Jean Day - Melissa, Thanks for sending the link. So many great pics in here and love that you did some more exploring and shooting with the hubs! How cool that you took the trail opposite Bridalveil. Isn’t it just beautiful up there? You got some really nice conditions at Mono, too. Nice black and white shot. I’ll be passing through Ridgecrest tomorrow night on my way to Joshua Tree for another workshop. Hope to see you again!
Best,
Jean
