Our sweet daughter joined our family this past December and the day of her birth is unforgettable. We waited in anticipation throughout that day trying to keep our minds occupied so we visited local diners, walked through little shops, and just sat in the truck talking about our little girl. At long last, we received her first photo and I cried. She was finally here, born at 3:25, and perfect! There are just some moments that are etched in your heart forever and I don’t think it’s possible to ever forget what it felt like to take her in my arms and whisper how much I love her for the first time. We were such proud parents getting to take her to be weighed and checked, sitting through her hearing tests, and finally getting to take her home. Clara is so very loved and we will forever be filled with gratitude to her birth parents for choosing us to raise her.
