Meet Melissa

Hello! I am Melissa, mama to the world’s cutest, sweetest two little boys & girl, wife to my handsome Brice, and lover of all things photography. As a young child, I always told myself (and others) that I would never, ever do portrait photography, that I only liked landscape. I’d practice shooting all over the place, going through rolls and rolls of film, turning them in for developing, and waiting impatiently for the prints to come back.

I finally started gaining an interest when my now-husband asked me to marry him and I looked into photographers for our engagement and wedding photos; my eyes were opened to the exciting and creative world of portrait photography (thank goodness!!) and I couldn’t stop thinking about getting my own dSLR. After waiting a few years and lots of practice, we arrive to today!

So happy you found us! Where to begin…I am a wife of 20 years, mom to my sweet bug, daughter, and auntie to some of the most beautiful babes. With all of these great roles in life, I have become crazy about documenting all of life’s milestones and adventures so we can look back and remember it all as if it had just happened. Time flies by in the blink of an eye and I am so grateful that I have captured so many of the little details that are so easily forgotten. The older my little one gets, the faster the years pass. It's so bittersweet to watch her grow, but do I ever miss those baby snuggles! I find myself looking back through photos often with a smile on face remembering all of her sweet phases. Photos are such a gift to a place in time that you don't want to let go of. 

Life is such a beautiful journey and I hope we can get to share a piece of it together capturing your unforgettable moments. Don't let time get away from you...
